Flamingo in the Garden is a short film I directed.
It tells the story of a young woman’s journey battling PTSD, set at a hospital in sunny North Africa, laced with morphine induced forbidden romance, blossoming out of a dream like garden.

Based on a true story, an accident which landed me 2 months in the hospital during a surf trip to Morocco. This 13 mins short film took 2 years, with 1 year in production and another year prior for the early development. Here’s our initial test shot & designs for the film.
